Sindhyani Tahreek to support April 30th Wheel Jam Strike in Sindh

LARKANA: April 28, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Central President of Sindhyani Tahreek Husna Rahoojo along with General Secretary Dr. Sindhu Manganhar and District President Rashida Laar, while in Press Conference said that Sindhyani Tahreek will support 30th April-2011 protest call and wheel Jam strike by Nationalist Organization in Sindh against the fake registration of house census in Sindh. She said that Nation has rejected to ongoing house counting process which is fraud to convert Sindh people into minority. Central President Husna Rahoojo said that worker women of Sindhyani Tahreek will fully participate in mass movement being carried out by Nationalist organizations. Sindhyani Tahreek has constituted several female monitoring team in 8 district including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur, Sanghar, Larkana and others to create awareness amongst the public about the importance of house and population census. Meanwhile, a large number of Professors and Lecturers on the protest call given by Sinch Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) Sindh continued their protest demonstration and observed token hunger strike for the provision of time scale, postings of promoted professors, health insurance and other facilities here on Thursday. On the occasion, Professor Nazir Soomro, Dur Muhammad Soomro, Muhammad Ibrahim Lashari, Javeed Bhutto, Abid Bhutto, Mobeen Langha and others shouted their slogans and called for the acceptance of charter of demand. Talking to media men, they said that teaching is a noble profession, so that the rulers and even present education Minister have received education from the teachers of college but despite of the protest and hunger strike of teachers rulers are reluctant to hear the problems of teachers. They demanded of government to take notice of matter and fulfill their legal demands otherwise they will continue their protest until the acceptance of time scale and others demands.
