Wheel Jam Strike observed on killing of Sindhi Nationalist Leaders

LARKANA: April 23, 2011. (By Nazir Siyal) Province wide shutter down and wheel jam strike was observed by the Nationalists after the killings of three Central nationalist Leaders Qurban Khuhawar, Rooplo Cholyani and others. On the call of Jeay Sindh Mutahida Muhaz (JSMM) all over Sindh, including Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabadd, Kashmore-Kandhkot, Naudero, Ratodero, Mirokhan, Arzi Bhutto, Sijawal and other parts of Sindh were completely observed shutter down strike and wheel jam also. Several rallies and protest demos were observed and chanted slogans against the killers. All the shops, bazzars, markets were closed in protest, while the main Resham Gali, Shahi Bazar, Anaj Mandi, Jailous Bazar, Shoping Centers and all petrol pumps remained close to express solidarity with the JSMM and other nationalists. On Friday, large number of activists and nationalist leaders gathered at Shahdadkot at the residence of Sirai Qurban Ali Khuhawar, where the funeral were observed on Friday and laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard Shahdadkot town. During the funeral activities a heavy Rangers and police were deployed at various chowks and corners of Shahdadkot and Larkana cities. On the occasion, large number JSQM leaders led their protest demonstrations set the tyers on fire against the murder of Nationalist leaders at Khepro near Sanghar. A large number of activists of JSQM, Jeay Sindh Mutahida Mahaz, SUP, SNP, SNF and others nationalist organizations strongly condemned the brutal murder of central leaders of JSMM and demanded the arrest of those hidden hands.
