Lahore: April 15, 2011. (PCP) His Muslim officer in Waste Management Department commented “You Christian Kafir “Infidel” I will teach you lesson if you ever raised voice against me”. His Muslim officer was ready to enter in religious dialogues that he may blame Akram Gill of blasphemy if Akram Gill comments on Islam. Akram Gill son of Mana Gill, resident of Chah Miran near Essa Nagri, Lahore, is in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore from March 28, 2011, on false charges filed by his Muslim officer. Akram Gill protested his Muslim officer on which he became enraged and called Muslim employees who dragged Akram Gill to Gawal Mandi Police Station where he insisted police officers to file charges against him under blasphemy law. The Gawal Mandi police detained Akram Gill on charges of insulting his officers which was bail able offence from police station on any personal guarantee which was not acceptable for Akram,s officer. The charges were tighten by police and charges of committing suicide were added against Akram Gill. Akram Gill have participated in many demonstration of Christians in front of Punjab Assembly and Lahore Press Club on persecution of Christians in Pakistan but now he is waiting for his trial in Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore. The family of Akram Gill is poor and unable to fight for his bail or for his release like hundreds of Christians in different jails of Pakistan implicated in false cases are unable to fight for their bails or trials. A Christian activists in Lahore who is friend of Akram Gill sends one SOS to different media cells in Pakistan like “This Akram gill from Pakistan. I am imprisoned in Pakistan because I raised a voice for Jesus Christ. I was assistant district officer in solid waste management department where my officer said intolerable sentences against Jesus Christ. I just asked him for apology and respect Christ. But they put me in prison. I am in full hardships. I may not be surviving in future. I asked you to pray for me and help me in any way you can, by sending my this message to all human beings through news paper, face book, email, or what you can do.
