Lahore: March 28, 2011. (PCP) “Minorities must be given the rights of election in a democratic way” sais Salamat Bhatti, a Christian leader from Gujranwala. Former President Pervez Musharaf had increased the majorities seats of assembly in all the four provinces but kept the same 10 reserved seat for the minorities and in this way also Gen. Pervez Musharaf in the name of representing the minorities destroyed the rights and said that the minorities are given the double vote right and instead of election the minorities were put in selection and unfortunately this way is called democratic by other democratic forces also democratic forces must know that in the national assembly 70 seats (10 minorities) and (60 lady’s) are present without ballet paper meaning in an undemocratic way and in this regard how can we call the present government democratic where the reserved seats of the minorities are occupied and this is an clear injustice to the minorities therefore this is a question from minorities, that isn’t this openly victimizing injustice to the minorities , why the present government is also obeying the same selection system , is this the reason this system is called (people are the stream of power) and if not then why is this illegal occupation on the minorities seats This is question of minorities to the politician soldier who snatched the rights of minorities to directly represent in the constitution and stole there rights Question of minorities …!! Why selection on our reserved seats instead of election in a democratic way like other seats. Why in 18th constitution this law of selection not election have been applied. Aren’t there any sacrifices of the minorities for our beloved country. The wise men of the country added a minus sign to the efforts of the minorities by not consulting them at the time of the amendment of 18th constitution , which the country lovers minorities cannot ignore and in this the democratic political followers want to kill the rights of minorities but we will not let such ideas succeed because the founder of Pakistan Quaid-E-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah said in his historic golden words that no government can take a step without taking there minorities in confidence and no government can stand on injustice minorities will not stand any repression therefore struggle for the minorities rights will be carried out until success National and Provincial reserved seats should be increased according to the Minorities Population and they must be given the right to choose there leader with help of election and looking forward for your prayers for the suite filed by Mr. J. Salik Former Minister Welfare Population against the clauses of the 18th constitution‘s amendent in which through selection system reserved seats have been divided among themselves Committee of no compromise on the reserved National and Provincial seats consists of Salamat Bhatti, Riyaz Mehmood Mato, Dr. Kanwal Feroz, Ilyaz M. Khan, Samsun Javed, Samsun Joseph, Elder Kaleem Tahir, Javed Pyara, Dr.Stephen Saleem Hamdard and Micheal Javed.
