Italia: March 15, 2011. The martyrdom of Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for religious minorities , marks a new pain in the hearts and minds of us all. His death occurred March 2, 2011, and inevitably the memory of the death of John Joseph in May 6, 1997, bishop of Faisalabad, and January 4, 2011 in Salman Taseer, Governor of Punjab in 2011 and oltere thousands of deaths, Freedom and Justice Bibi for Asia and Agnus Nago, stressing the inviolability of the law and the danger 295c, A and B on blasphemy. Pakistan is a country of many facets, for its rich diversity of religious and ethno-linguistic thought from its founding as a state progressive, democratic and tolerant towards all minorities. Mohammed Ali Jinnah as was expressed during his first speech in the Constituent all'Assamblea August 11, 1947: "There are many of us non-Muslims - Hindus, Christians and Parsis - but they are all Pakistanis. Enjoy the same rights and privileges as other citizens, and will have their rightful role in the decisions of Pakistan. " Yet we have forgotten this noble vision of Pakistan, we have removed any form of dialogue, understanding, cooperation and sharing. We have builof love, brotherhood and communion. I urge all Pakistani citizens with authority to believe that the multi-cultural and ecumenical dialogue is not mere utopia, but the continued efforts of men of good will who, with courage and perseverance move to build a better world.
The Pakistanis lay Christians in Italy, and the promoter of the Committee consists of:
South Asian Christian Writers Association (SACW), South Asian Minorities Writer Association (samwa), International Minorities Alliance (IMA), Pakistan Christian Orient Organization (POCO), Asian Christian Community Prato (ACCP).
The initiative is open to broader membership: inviting other public and private institutions, associations, organizations, foundations, institutes to formally notify its membership and to participate in peaceful protest against the law to 295C, B and A blasphemy, in memory of martyrdom of the Minister Shahbaz Bhatti and in memory of Bishop John Joseph's death in 1997 .
The event will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 10:30 to 13:00 at Piazza Piazza.xx until September. Maggiore, Bologna, Italy.
