Lahore: March 5, 2011. (PCP) Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, the minister for Minorities have been gun down by the extremists Taliban, who are killing Muslims worshiping in mosques. They spare no one, any one who disagree with their view, they feel free to kill. They follow their own desires. Yesterday [4 March 2011] ten innocent people have been killed in a bomb blast in Shrine and mosque in Khyber Pakhtun Khawah province [ex NWFP]. These were not Christians but Muslims, the terrorists have no religion. The Muslims of Pakistan and all over the world condemn the heinous crime of killing of Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, as they condemn killing of every innocent human being any where in the world, strictly forbidden by Qur'an: "Therefore We ordained for the Children of Israel that he who slays a soul unless it be (in punishment) for murder or for spreading mischief on earth shall be as if he had slain all mankind; and he who saves a life shall be as if he had given life to all mankind. And indeed again and again did Our Messengers come to them with clear directives; yet many of them continued to commit excesses on earth."(Qur'an;5:32). Special Charter of Rights Granted to Christians by Prophet Muhammad [pbuh]: In 628 AD, a delegation from St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai, came to Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him] a nd requested his protection. Prophet Muhammad [peace be upon him] responded by granting them a charter of rights, which is can be viewed in its entirety. This is ever lasting charter, granting unprecedented protection, tolerance and freedom to Christians living among Muslims.
