Karachi: March 3, 2011. (PCP) Hundreds of e-Mails, messages of condolences and condemnation are sent to Pakistan Christian Post. Mr. Khalid Gill, Chief Organizer of All Pakistan Minorities Alliance APMA and Chairman Christian Lawyers Foundation CLF have strongly condemned assassination of Federal Minority Minster Shahbaz Bhatti. Shahbaz Bhatti was gunned down by four gunmen when he was heading for Cabinet meeting from his home in Islamabad on March 2, 2011. Mr. William Shahzad, Chairman, Pakistani Christian Association in North America PCA based in New York have strongly condemned killing of Shahbaz Bhatti Mr. Younis Malkani, President of The Founder Development Organization Badin, have said that we are very regretted that Minorities minister has been brutally assassinated yesterday. There is no way to accept it and made grievance. But the fact adding to our disappointment is no action from government yet. When our authorities admit that killer are same who killed Benazir Bhutto and Salman Taseer what the hell is stopping them to take action against these killers who are not escaped away but in front of them. How many innocent people would be left on those goon zealots by government to be killed like late Bhatti. At this time of condolence we are with minorities and assure them that these killers are not from Pakistani people and they do not have any religion. We strongly urge Government to take immediate action against these killers and minority should be protected from them. Moreover, there should be no separate rule for minorities rather equal citizenship may be given to all Pakistani people. With Regards Agnes Massey, a Lawyer said “I condemned this brutal murder of Shahbaz Bhatti ,Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs. This is the time for all Human Rights activists of the world to stand for the safety of humanity and condemn killing of human beings” Mr. Dabbir Tirmzy said “PTI International strongly condemn the killing of Shabaz Bhatti and demand to bring all the rulers to accountability who are the only direct reason for this kind of lawlessness. But the big question is who would bring them to the court of justice? And only answer to this question is the public of Pakistan. PTI have a natural allegiance with oppressed junta either a minority or a majority” Mary Abddelmassih, Editor of AINA said “ I would like to extend to you my deepest condolences on the death of martyr Shahbaz Bhatti. His death touched everyone. He was a brave man. I feel that of all the suffering Christians today, the Pakistani Christians are suffering the most. I feel they are in the "lion's den". May God bless you all, you have a heavy cross to bear. Mr. Watson Gill, leader of Urdu Church Holland have strongly condemned killing of Shahbaz Bhatti and demanded immediate arrest of culprits. Aneela in a message have said “I would like to offer my sincere condolences to you and the Christian congregations in Pakistan in regard to the death of Shabhaz Bhatti. I am Pakistani and Muslim, and disgusted at the inhumanity that is present in Pakistan today in the name of Islam, perpetrated by my fellow Pakistanis. I am ashamed that we have not become a better nation of people, I am sorry. I think your fight is brave, you on the front line, I am a coward in comparison” Meanwhile, many Christian organizations in Pakistan and around globe have e-Mailed their condolences messages.
