(PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have said that statement of Mr. Rehman Malik, Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan to blame slain Christians leader Shahbaz Bhatti to neglect his security is very surprising and heart breaking for 20 million Pakistani Christian. “It was duty of Rehman Malik to take Pakistani Christians in confidence when they are feeling insecure in Pakistan after broad daylight murder of a Christian Federal Minister in capital city of Pakistan with announcement of arrests of Tehreek Taliban Punjab TTP elements involved in this brutal murder but Mr. Malik is blaming Shahbaz Bhatti on neglecting security” said Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti added “It is great lie that Pakistani Muslim Ministers have also not bulletproof vehicles when it is on record that Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Saeed Kazmi survived assassination attempt in Islamabad because of bulletproof car and import of dozens of bulletproof BMW,s which were given to Muslim Ministers and Shahbaz Bhatti was ignored being a Christian because he was not from Feudal Lords class who are in Cabinet and on frontline of Pakistan Peoples Party PPP government” How Shahbaz Bhatti can ignore his security when he openly admitted life threats on national print and electronic media and fear for his life in interviews with International media also? Shahbaz Bhatti was on hit list of Islamic extremists groups on his stance on revision of blasphemy law and he requested for bulletproof car like his other cabinet colleagues and adequate security staff but Cabinet Division, Prime Minister of Pakistan, President of Pakistan and Interior Minister undermined his security because he was a Christian and not a Feudal Lord or Business Tycoon. Chief of PCC said that we always felt ashamed when media was reporting that President of Pakistan was issuing orders to Shahbaz Bhatti to go to Gojra, Sialkot and Karachi, as he was not a Federal Minister but a peon of President House but Shahbaz Bhatti beard such insulting attitude of PPP leaders because he aimed to serve his poor oppressed Christian community in difficult situation. Nazir Bhatti said that it is shameful for Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani as leader of House on failing to present condolence resolution on floor of house on fear of Islamic Extremists in Pakistan who have issued decree that to offer “Fatehha” or condolence resolution on death of Christian “Kafir” infidel is un-Islamic. “Pakistan in not safe for millions of Christians after martyrdom of Shahbaz Bhatti” said Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti demanded immediate arrest of killers of Shahbaz Bhatti and urged official of Pakistan administration to stop allegation on slain Christian leader Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti of neglecting security. Pakistan Christian Congress PCC feared that security staff of Shahbaz Bhatti seems involved in murder like security staff of Governor Salman Taseer. PCC said that it is duty of Punjab government to unfold Tehreek Taliban Punjab TTP which have accepted responsibility of assassination of Shahbaz Bhatti.
