Toba Tek Singh: February 27, 2011. (By Qaiser Sohail) International Christian Rights Welfare Society registered in 2001, working since 1992 for the 250000 acres of cultivate land in Punjab Pakistan. This land is ordered by high court of Pakistan for given to Christians of Punjab under grow more food scheme in 1959. Unfortunately the land is not handed over to the Christian yet. Mr. Aslam Pervaiz Chairman of ICRWS worked very hard for the same. After his 10 years struggle he is now be able to submit the 126 files in the office of EDO(Revenue) Toba Tek Singh for the further considerations and handing over. Now there are 126 Families are living in very awesome condition, that they have no income sources and even no hems to live in, they need medicines, cots, clothes, food, etc. There is small church also. ICRWS has registered members and issued the cards for every member. ICRWS need more funds to pursue the case as the hire the Supreme court Advocate for the petition. Chak No 300GB Jerusalem is one of the 6 Villages yet to be handed over to the Christians of Punjab. The Christian villagers of Chack Jerusalem need support of other relevant NGOs all over the world for better life and adequate facilities as ICRWS have very limited funds and resources. The ICRWS have also demand Govt. of Punjab to take appropriate action for transfer of land to Christian farmers.
