TobaTek Singh, Punjab: February 15, 2011. (By Qaiser S Gill) There are 126 Christian farmers families living in handmade tents in remote district of Punjab province of Pakistan without any help of government of Pakistan or any international Non-Governmental organization..
It is village in government record as Chack Number 300 GB, known as Jerusalem, with agricultural land of 1675 acres, allotted to Christians in 1959, under Colonies Act in TobaTek district of Punjab province of Pakistan.
The government of Pakistan allotted this land to Christians but Revenue Board which is authority on land never handed over this village land to Christians.
There is small Tent Church also but can not build homes and Church because it is not handed over officially by Board of Revenue since 1959..
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC demanded government of Pakistan to direct Board of Revenue to officially announce and allot to Christian farmers of village Jerusalem and provide them with adequate facilities.
