Lahore, Pakistan: January 17, 2011. (By Samuel Nazir) The Mashal Youth Society MYS held a seminar on January 16, 2011, in Lahore to pay homage to Martyr Salman Tasser here today. In opening comments of Mashal Youth Society MYS, President Mr. Saleem Shakir welcomed Christian leaders and other signatories from different walks of life and expressed importance of seminar subject to “Martyrdom of Salman Taseer and our Future”. He said that sacrifice of Salman Tasser leads Christian youth to unity because we can only be successful with our unity. Saleem Shakir said that Salman Taseer is Hero of Christian community of Pakistan and his martyrdom is ray of light for oppressed Pakistani Christians. Mr. Pervaiz Jamal, a Writer, Mr. Zeshan Joseph, President of Pakistan Christian League, Mr. Yasir Barket Khokhar of Revival internestion Monthly Magazine. Mr. Sohail Jonson of Shairing Life Ministry, Mr. Martin Javed Michael, Gen. Secretary Pakistan Christian Democratic Alliance and Bishop Yaqoob Paul (President Pakistan Christian Democratic Alliance also spoke in seminar and paid tributes to Salman Taseer. After message from speakers Mr. Sohail Jonson from "Shairing Life Ministry" Showed the documentary of different incident happened in Pakistan, like Bahmani, Gojra, Faislabad, Asia Bibi and others. Some Leaders suggest that Christian youth should also take step against Muslim community, But mostly leaders delivered message for peace, unity and also ability for choose good leaders for Christians community in Pakistan.
