HRFP's Christmas Get Together 2010

Faisalabad, Pakistan: January 6, 2011. (By Mobeena Gill) Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) organized Christmas Get Together 2010 on December 23, 2010 and helped the widows & needy and shared a real joy of Christmas with the ignored people of the society. HRFP believes Christmas is an event to celebrate with the poor of the poorest. HRFP gives the Christmas gifts to 100 widows & needy and to 50 children. It was an event to share happiness, joy and gladness with each other .A variety program was also arranged .The local school kids arranged Christmas tableau and show the story of Jesus birth and his aim to come on earth. For expression of joy the HRFP's youth wing held some fabulous songs and carrel. Naveed Walter President HRFP, Patrick Jacob Gill(Ex Parliamentarian) , Rev.Fr.Anjum, Pervaiz Amar ( Journalist/Poet), Javed Tota( Ex local body Councilor) , Sr. Nazi ( Principal local School),Rose Herman Gil, Master Akhtar,Younis Gill appreciated the event and HRFP’s work for the miseries . The participants said, it’s good to share true spirit of Christmas by giving gifts of those who can't celebrate Christmas by their own. The speakers expressed their feeling through giving good remarked on performance of kids and those people who participate in Christmas play, songs and carrels and make the program colorful and amazing. The HRFP’s leaders said there work is for a common man and for the minorities in specific. This event is to help to deserving widows & needy at the special moment of Christmas to share our smiles & resources together with each other. Naveed Walter , President for Human Rights Focus Pakistan said, HRFP is an organization working for the people who are prosecuted because of their faith. We help to orphans, widows and needy through out the year and at every Christmas & Easter in specific. Naveed Walter Appealed for more noble work we need the support in prayers and financial assistance. Our next help program is “Easter Gift Program” for 200 widows & needy and 100 children. Please help in advance to reach more people OR Help us to help the people who are persecuted because of their religion/ faith in Pakistan. We provide them advocacy and we help them by legal and financial assistance. We also help to the families of persecuted people, He added more. On the beautiful precious moment of Christmas Get Together 2010, the HRFP and participants also cut the Christmas cake. The refreshment was shared by the all participants at the end.
