Islamabad: Asif Ali Zardari has traditionally greeted Sikh pilgrims, Hindus and other minorities on the occasion of Christmas, Holi and now Baisakh
London: December 2, 2010. (PCP) Baloch Human Rights Council (UK) condemns in strongest words the brutal and inhuman act of the Pakistani Military in Turbat (Balochistan) on 1st December 2010.
In one of the cowardice actions, the army bombarded the house of the Balochistan National Party central committee member Waja Ayub Jan and killed his two sons Murad and Zubair and three of their friends Hasil, Majid and Hammal in front of hundreds of people and in the presence of local administration who look helplessly while the house was being bombarded.
Mr. Samad Baloch, Secretary General of BHRC said that we believes that this is the continuation of the state policy to annihilate or intimate the Baloch Leadership into submission by using such inhuman tactics. It should be noted that Waja Ayub Gichki is the uncle of the Baloch Nationalist Leader and Chief of the Balochistan National party Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal.
In recent months the Pakistani Authorities have increased the genocide actions against the Baloch by murdering dozens of Baloch nationalist leaders, students and political activists.
BHRC considers the situation in Balochistan as very grave. We appeal to all who have influences upon Pakistani military who is the actual ruler of the country to immediately take actions in order to save the lives and dignity of the Baloch in Balochistan.
