Islamabad: Asif Ali Zardari has traditionally greeted Sikh pilgrims, Hindus and other minorities on the occasion of Christmas, Holi and now Baisakh
USA: November 25, 2010. (PCP) Voice of the Copts, an international Human Rights organization with offices in United States and Italy condemns the uncivil, barbaric and fascist attack against a Coptic Church in Cairo this morning.
The attack was carried out by the Egyptian regime's state security police force against Coptic civilians.
Voice of the Copts rejects all excuses made by the regime concerning the construction of this church in Talbeah (The Virgin Mary and the Archangel Church) including non-performance of some construction details in relation to the architectural drawings submitted!
In this country ruled by fascistic Islamic-Shariah law along with Omarany and Hamayon decrees which oppress and discriminate minority faiths and beliefs where they manage to allow construction of Mosques and Zawias (mosques inside buildings) and their proliferation without rules and regulations, the regime is now enforcing a law over the construction of a Christian church. This double standard regarding religious buildings is a clear indicator of the regime's real agenda.
It is time for the international community to stand up against the violence of the Mubarak regime in Egypt. Voice of the Copts is asking all free men and women around the globe to stand up and condemn the action of this regime, as well as all members of United States Congress and Senate, the Italian Ministers and its Camera dei Deputati and Senato, all European governments, and the European Parliament.
Copts of Egypt are under ongoing persecution for their religious belief, and the whole world needs to come to the defense of these civilians in Egypt who suffer discrimination due to Islamic supremacy.
