LARKANA: November 11, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Sindh High Court Circuit Bench Larkana granted permission to the parents of newly wedded couple to take girl along with, while decided for formal Rukhsatee ceremony will be after Eid.
According to the details, A teenage Safdar Channa (18) of Larkana and Faryal Talat (17) of Lahore after internet friendship both contracted the Court Marriage here few days back, while the parents of girl had lodged FIR of kidnapping in Lahore police station.
The couple appeared in Sindh High Court (SHC) Circuit Bench Larkana a day before, which granted permission to the newly wedded couple for joint living after Nikkah-Nama and other formal completion of documents.
Later, the parents of teenage Faryal Talat arrived Larkana and met District Police Officer (DPO) Larkana for recovery of their daughter, while DPO Larkana arranged a meeting with the couple and relatives for negotiations. The climax of the story was accepted and agreed both relatives/parties, they decided of formal arrangements of marriage ceremony at Lahore from Larkana marriage party.
The police produced couple before the family Court of the Judge Samina Mangi, who refused to hear the case and sent the couple to the High Court for further decision.
On the occasion, Couple was presented in the Sindh High Court Circuit Bench Justice Zakir Shah and Justice Abdul Hadi Khoso, they ordered for the handing over the couple to their parents and agreement was recorded for security and other arrangements.
Meanwhile, District Police Officer (DPO) Larkana Irfan Baloch on Thursday said in a press statement that the security arrangements on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha has been finalized and strict security plan has been chalked out to avoid any untoward situation in Larkana district.
He said that he has directed the deployment of police personals on various sensitive places to ensure the laws and order situation and control street crimes, added that several police pickets have been established at various places including on main roads, religious places, hotels, business centers and other various points he said.
He further told that a security beefed up in different parts of Larkana to deal with criminal elements and control law and order situation. He said it is a prime priority of his administration to protect the properties and lives of common men.
DPO said crime rate is decreased as compared to other districts and police force performing the professional services round the clock to protect the public. He said there will be no compromise on law and order situation, which is our main responsibility he said.
He warned the criminal elements to surrender voluntarily; police will help in provision of justice, other wise crackdown operation will be started very soon he said.
