LARKANA: November 6, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Three Constitutional petitions were filed against the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Kamber-Shahdadkot Yaseen Shaar by the flood affectees for corruption and against the distribution of relief goods on political grounds under a Chandka Citizen Community board and others told the petitioners here on Friday.
According to details, a petitioner Chairman Chandka Citizen Community board Hafiz Khair Mohammed Chandio of Warrah and others filed constitutional petitions in Sindh High Court Circuit Court Larkana, against the non provision of relief goods or politically distribution of goods, delay in rehabilitation of affectees in district.
In a petition, prayed that district administration Kamber has registered fake entries and ignored their areas, which they could not been received Watan Cards and other facilitations.
Petitioner also told that hundreds of villages of Taluka Warrah including UC Mirpur and Khandoo completed submerged but the areas were not registered in a list of beneficiaries, so that they were facing hardships and much loss of crops and other properties.
They further told that only 5 thousand acre of Agri land in Deh Gul Buriro was affected but the district government administration has shown only 1400 acres, after passage of three months flood water also could not be drain out from their villages and areas.
The court has issued notices to the concerned including Chairman and other officials of National Disaster/Management and Rehabilitation, DCO Kamber-Shahdadkot, S. E irrigation Saifullah Magsi Branch, Chairman NADRA Islamabad, Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage Right Bank Larkana and others to be present on 23-11-2010.
Whereas, the other petitioners Khan Mohammed Gadhi resident Suharo Gadhi and Mehmood Abro resident of Khandoo Warrah Taluka have already filed their petition against the concerned authorities.
