LARKANA: November 4, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Under the directives of Chief Minister Sindh, Samabara Inn handed over to the district government Larkana after the failure of Sindh Tourism Department Government of Sindh,. It was a gift by the PIA in 1974 when the former Premier Zulfikar Ali Bhutto government. Sources disclosed that the despite of rejected summary by the Sindh Tourism Department Government of Sindh during the PPP government in 1994, former Prime Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had rejected the same, while the authorities in a notification letter No. EO/SGA & CD/Misc/18/2010 handed over Sambara Inn formerly PIA hotel to the District Government. The hotel with sophisticated facilities and swimming pool and other luxuries possesses area about 5 acre in the heart of Larkana. When, contacted In charge Samabara Inn Makhdoom Gulzar Ahmed confirmed the that the authorities have sent letter to the concerned for possession immediately. While, about 40 employees of Samabara Inn and citizens of Larkana has expressed grief over the possession of District Government and said that it is the unfortunate of PPP government that it was the gift of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who developed a modern and luxurious beautiful Samabara Inn from Pakistan International Air Lines (PIA), where Arab countries princess and premiers were facilitated and it is historical PIA hotel now called Samabara Inn handed over in the PPP government Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Qaim Ali Shah, which is against the vision and dream of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Larkanian said. The employees and citizens have demanded for the properly run it and decision may made undo and needs to protect the historical and anxious Sambara Inn. Meanwhile, delegation of Khaksar Youth Wing offered Fateha for senior Journalist and former vice President Larkana Press Club late Haji Abdul Ghani Shaikh here at his residence on Thursday. On the occasion, delegation led by Khaksar Manzoor Ali Adil Abro, Mohammed Mithal, Ali Anwer Domki, Gulsher Abro, Gulzar Khoso, M. B Abro, Gulsher Abro and others, they offered fateha with his elder brothers Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal and Haji Abdul Majeed Shaikh on the sad demise of senior Journalist late Haji Abdul Ghani, who was the Assistant District Scout Commissioner Larkana and lead trainer for the scouts and coaching. While, on the occasion, a message was delivered from Chief Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan Dr. Sabiha Arshad Al-Mashriqi, in which says that about his great services and sacrifices for the volunteerism in the field of scout as well journalism. Whereas, the Khaksar Youth Wing continued their protest demonstration against the drainage water and construction of miserable roads and streets by the Public health engineering and Municipal Administration in Larkana Katchi Abadis. Protestors protest over the corruption and negligence of district administration and demanded for proper development of streets and roads with drainage of Larkana. On the occasion, Anwer Domki, Manzoor Ali Abro, Mohammed Mithal Solangi, Shaukat Ali, Sarmad Mughal, and others observed protest.
