LARKANA: November 3, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Khaksar Youth Wing Larkana Chapter continued observed token hunger strike against the drainage water and construction of miserable roads and streets by the Public health engineering and Municipal Administration in Larkana Katchi Abadis.
Protestors protest over the corruption and negligence of district administration and demanded for proper development of streets and roads with drainage of Larkana.
On the occasion, Anwer Domki, Manzoor Ali Abro, Mohammed Mithal Solangi, Shaukat Ali, Sarmad Mughal, and others observed protest.
Meanwhile, a large number of activists of Sunni Tahreek (ST) staged protest demonstration in front of press club against the increase in POL charges here on Tuesday.
The protest led by Provincial Leader Mulana Ali Nawaz Qasmi holding banners, placards inscribed with slogans of control inflation, poverty and with drawl of new price hike in petroleum products outside the Press Club.
Talking to media men, ST leader said that the present rulers have failed to provide relief to common men and snatched meal from down trodden people.
He said that already devastating flood has paralyzed the poor people by inundation their villages and crops he added that due poverty and unemployment educated youth are suicides, while parents are selling their beloved children.
ST leader appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of prevailing inflation and price hike.
ST leaders including Mulana Ali Nawaz Qasmi, Hafiz Mashooque, Malagani, Abdul Rasheed Sangi and others offered condolence with heirs deceased Senior Journalist Haji Abdul Ghani Shaikh and prayed for the peace of departed soul.
