Sindhi Nationalists rally for Flood Victims

LARKANA: October 29, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Various protests were carried out by different political parties in favour of flood affectees and arrest of workers here on Friday in Larkana. According to details, Jeay Sindh Tarraqi Passand Party (JSTPP) took out protest rally led by central leader Ahmed Nawaz Brohi, Jamal Khan Mugheri and others, rally started from Qaim Shah Bukhari, which marching various thorough fairs, reached at Jinnah Bagh Chowk, where activist holding placards, banners and pamphlet’s were chanting against the local administration on delay start of the restoration work of flood affected areas. They alleged that police is beating innocent flood survivals at several Nadra Wattan Card centres, which is the categorical humiliation and violation of human rights. They strongly condemned the batten charge on poor flood affectees by police cops, they said. On the otherside, large number of local leaders and workers of Pakistan Peoples Party (Shaheed Bhutto) led by the Barkat Ali Mirjat, Ali Hyder Samo, Barkat Mirani, Zubair Lahori, Mohammed Ali Umrani and others observed protest demo infront the court for the release of arrested PPP-SB leader Inayat Umrani. They said that present rulers are political victimizing and implicating opponent leaders in fake and fabricated cases. So called reconciliation policy is only the paper work and reduced the political statement, they added. While, the number of activists of Awami Ithad Party (AIP) District Larkana protested against the allegations on their leaders on occupation on agricultural land. On the occasion, Mohammed Murtaza Mashori, Abdul Aziz Shaikh, Attaullah Abbasi, Sanjay Kumar and others said that few miscreants are hatching conspiracy to invoke tribal clashes by illegal encroachment and occupation on public property, they said. The relatives of arrested man held protest against the arrest of 50 years old Mohammed Iqbal Brohi here out side Press club Larkana. On the occasion, protesters including Faisal Iqbal, Mohammed Ali and others told that their father have been implicated in fake case at Baqa pur police station, and forcing him to sale the plot of the A.B.Rind Town ship, armed of Bashir Bhatti are issuing threats of dire consequences if they would not sale the plot to him or his party, they further alleged. While other, Jeay Sindh Tehreek Larkana (JST) took out protest rally for the releasing of arrested Aakash Mallah and others here on Friday at Larkana, the rally led by Sirai Urs Khuhawar, Rizwan Laghari, Roshan Brohi and others and also marched different roads and culminated at Jinnah Bagh Chowk peace fully. Addressing the rally the speakers said that present government has political victimized our nationalists and misplaced them unknown places, while the heirs of arrested leaders are not allowed to see their arrested men. Jail administration Larkana has tortured to Aamir Soho, they alleged. They appealed to the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan to take sou moto notice of illegal arrest of the nationalist leaders and provide justice to them.
