LARKANA: October 27, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) A clash between gunmen of former Chairman Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Abdul Sattar Dero and Abro community people killed two innocent among a cart man and welder pedestrian, while ASI police guard of Tando Allahyar district and brother of SHO Civil Line were also injured on Wednesday here in Larkana city near Murad Wahan Police Chowki.
According to the details, in the broad day light the guards of an influential Batool Medical Center and the gunmen of owner of Sindh Science College Larkana opened firing both sides and killed two innocent at Welder shop Ali Hyder Channa (25) else Adeel and cartman Gada Hussain Abro, while two others including ASI Police guard of Tando Allahyar Noor Mohammed Majeedano and Afsar Ali, brother of SHO Civil Lines, they were shifted to the hospital police said.
After a clash between gaurds both side firing was continued for hours, which resulted a panic spread over the area and among boys and girl students of Sindh Science College. Later, the guards of an influential Abdul Sattar Dero entered in Sindh Science College building and rumors spread about the taking control of College along with students, later all the students were taken out immediately on the occasion.
The police reached late on the spot as routine and blocked main road from both sides and cordoned off the area, after long hour negotiation with owner of building and former KPT Chairman Abdul Sattar Dero, police arrested four Gunmen but police could not accertained their names/identification to the media on the spot. Aditional DPO Niazi and ASP City Waqar could not confirm the names and arrest of other culprits. Additional DPO Niazi further told that after brief investigation they will lodge FIR against those culprits and consultation with heirs of deceased.
Besides, large number of relatives of both deceased held protest demonstration, blocked VIP road and burnt tires out side the CMC Hospital and demanded for the arrest of culprits.
