Extremist Muslim occupy Gordon College Chapel on Gunpoint

Rawalpindi, Pakistan: October 21, 2010. (PCP) More than a dozen armed extremist Muslims vandalized a Church adjacent to Gordon College Rawalpindi on night of October 20, 2010, tied up Pastor and his family and occupied property used as Church since 1936. Muslim armed culprits desecrated Holy Bibles and threw away Hymn Books along with household utensils of Pastor in charge in premises on main road with support of area police to take control of Church property. There was such attack on Gordon College Chapel in year 2009, but same was foiled by Christian leaders. The Gordon College Chapel was governed by Evacuee Property after independence of Pakistan in 1947, and same was allocated to Christians for worship. The Gordon College in heart of Rawalpindi city was in eye of Muslim land grabbers after formation of Pakistan and then after nationalization of Christian schools and colleges by Pakistan Peoples Party PPP leader Zulifiqar Bhutto in 1971. The city of Rawalpindi falls in jurisdiction of Punjab government being twin city to capital of Pakistan Islamabad which raised property value to millions. The Evacuee Property in Pakistan are governed under Federal Minority Ministry headed by one Christian Shahbaz Bhatti who was nominated by PPP government in federation and is supporting Muslim government neglecting Christian issues. The Robinson Ministry was managing Gordon College Chapel from decade and Evacuee Property was transferred to ministry in legal ways. It seems that Federal Minority Minister is involved in this scam of land grabbers who took control of Church property. Professor Salamat Akhtar, famous as Father of Pakistani Christians, Pastor Samson Bhatti and Pastor Sohail in a joint press conference condemned occupation of Church by Muslims and announced to take out protest procession against Church grabbers.
