Philadelphia: September 17, 2010. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemned killing of Dr. Imran Farooq and expressed his condolences to Mr. Altaf Hussain, Chief of MQM and family of the deceased.
Dr. Imran Farooq was among founder members of Muttahida Quami Movement MQM and serving as Coordinator of MQM Coordination Committee from International Secretariat of MQM based in London.
Dr. Imran Farooq was stabbed to death in front of his London home in evening of September 16, 2010, where he was living with his wife and two children from years in exile.
Dr. Nazir Bhatti in a message to MQM Chief Altaf Hussain expressed grief on heartbreaking incident of killing of Dr. Imran Farooq and condoled grieving family of MQM leader.
Nazir Bhatti appealed to Christians in Pakistan and members of PCC to join ten days mourning on death of Dr. Imran Farooq announced by MQM to pay homage to services of Dr. Farooq to oppressed poor communities of Pakistan.
