Lahore: September 5,2010: (By Fr, Inayat Bernard) As the theme of this year is Mary the Queen of the Universe. Yes she is a real Queen, she listens to each and every person. There are few people who were interviewed by Milap children wing and here is the report of that. 1-Patras Kale Khan from Christian town, Shahadara, Lahore said that he had no children for long time after he got married. Then he, his wife and mother in-law went to Mariamabad and the coming year he got a baby boy. Then the mother-in-law and the family went with a golden crown to thanks Mother Mary. Now every year they go there and give breakfast to everyone. 2-Arif and zubeda were married for seven years but no children. The boy’s family was just saying leave her and married another woman but he said no. so one day they just went to Mariamabad and the coming year they had a son. Its not that Mother Mary forgot them but after three years they had another son and now the 3rd Baby is coming. We are praying that this time Mother will give us a baby girl and our family will be complete. Ma had give us lot. 3- Sohail Sardar is a young man. His eye sight was gone one fine day. He went to so many doctors but nothing was happening. It was during Ziarat and whoever was going he was telling them that just pray for me that my eye sight will come back. The in November one fine morning everything was clear. He could see. Now for three years he is going to thank Mother Mary. She has done so many miracles in my life. 4- Razia Arif from Mariam Colony, Lahore, said that her husband had no job and we were very much upset. Then we saw that so many people go there. So we went also but we didn’t know what to say and ask from Mother Mary. So we went and came back but this time we were just very much relaxed. After three months Arif got a job and now we both have job. We didn’t know how to pray the rosary but now we have learnt and we can forget the meal but not to pray the rosary. We have four boys and no girl so we prayed for a baby girl and we got her too. We go every year now just to thank her for all the blessings. 5- Sara Bibi was praying to have her own house and she got her house. She went again for thanks giving she had a house made of silver to offer. 6- Martha Sadiq said that she had given me lots of blessing and done miracles in my life. They are uncountable. She is going to Mariamabad for 16 years now. She had 2 daughters and she asked for a son and she got. So I never miss a chance to go there even during the year. As for the security point of view I would say that even the priests should checked because anyone can wear a habit and enter. Security should be very tight, even the vehicles should be checked. The rice distribution should be also out in Medan’s Mariam. They can bring a plate of rice in and there should be a Priest assigned just to pray and bless the rice. Then they can distribute. The people who drink and use other drugs. Just keep them away from there, they should not enter to the holy place. There should be a prayerful atmosphere and nothing else. People who sleep in the church. Please not to allow them. We know that people come from far away places but church is not the place to sleep. Milap Organization founded by Margaret Piara is working for the orphans and widows from 29th February 2004. It conducts programs on promotion of peace and rights of women and children. On Christians and feasts rand on special occasions the widows and orphans are helped with the eatables to celebrate the feasts in an appropriate way.
