LARKANA: September 2, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) President Asif Ali Zardari visited relief camps and arrangements at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and government Ploy technical School here on Wednesday.
President was unhappy and express dissatisfaction over the arrangements by the local administrations, in this regard, President has directed authorities to develop a plan and facilitate the entire flood hit areas and better services of health and other services told sources.
It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that there was no any information regarding the coverage about the visit of President or facilitate the media persons.
Meanwhile, the protective embankments of Gaji Khuhawar were removed due to floodwaters pressure and breaches in drains near Warrah, Nasirabad, Mehar and K. N Shah, several villages flooded.
After various breaches in Main Nara Valley Drain, water levels receds in different locations of Mehar, K.N Shah and Johi talukas of Dadu district.
A large numbers of people of various locations in both districts evacuated themselves and flood submerged Gaji Khuhawar and villages in Warrah, Nasirabad of Qamber-Shahdadkot district.
On the other hand, the local administration failed on the occasion, when armed groups from villages of both sides opposed the government decision about cuts in MNV drain floodwaters leading from Kamber-Shahdadkot and Qubo Saeed Khan inundated several towns and villages.
Protective embankments of FP Bund along with RBOD and Main Nara Valley Drain towards Dadu district are week and under flood pressure, water recedes and breaches in Warrah, Nasirabad, Mehar talukas.
