Call for unity among political parties for rehabilitation of flood victims. Nisar Khuhro

LARKANA: August 22, 2010. (Nazir Siyal) Speaker sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has appealed the leaders of all political parties to come forward and serve the people of country and united in a difficult moment, play their part in the rehabilitation of flood victims. He also urged upon the different NGOs and philanthropists that they should ensure to help the flood victims without any discrimination. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro the present government trying its at most for providing food stuffs to the flood victims at relief camps, as well as the medicines in the remote Katcha areas. There is need to extend the relief facilities to the flood affected people. He also said that the poor people always give sacrifices in the natural deactivation and affect with tolerance, besides the government was taking all out efforts for the rehabilitation of the flood victims and their damaged houses will be reconstructed as well as the financial assistance will be provided to them he said. Khuhro said the crops in Katcha areas also badly damaged, in this regard the survey will be carried out by revenue department and the compensation may be provided to the flood affected accordingly. Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro on the occasion, visited the house of Abdul Ghafoor Bhurgri, a senior Advocate and offered Fateha on sad demise of his son late Abdul Samad Bhurgri. On the occasion, Khalid Iqbal Memon Ex M.N.A, Mohammad Aslam Shaikh, Ex President Chamber Of commerce & industry Larkana, Mohammad Amin Shaikh, Noorddin Abro, Amin Shaikh, Ghulam Abbas Kehar and large number workers and others were present. Earlier, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro visited Hindu Dharamshala Larkana, where he Distributed food stuff among flood affectees from his own pocket. On the Occasion Lekhraj chairman Hindu Panchayt Larkana thanked Speaker Sindh Assembly. Meanwhile, Sindh Minister For Women Development Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto visited Flood Relief Camps at New bus Stand, Government Pilot Secondary High School , Girls High School, Government Primary School Lahori Muhalla, Government P V School and enquire the problems of flood affectees and assured them that possible facilities will be provided at any cast. The Minister directed the local administration to ensure the food stuff and medical care at the relief camps, she said present government is trying its utmost to safeguard the lives and properties of the citizens and the government straying hard to provide food stuff to flood affectees and medical cover was being also provided to ailing humanity at the relief camps. In this regard the collective efforts should be required and well to do persons come forward to help the flood victims without any discrimination she said.
