Dr. Nazir Bhatti, President, Pakistan Christian Congress advised me to write to you regarding Plight of Christians of Pakistan to follow up his petition which he presented you on Black Day Aug 11,10, I would like to draw your kind attention that Christians are living under constant fear of Blasphemy laws in Pakistan. 1) The extremists /fundamentalist misusing sec 295 (b) & (c) Pakistan Penal Code for their Extreme hatred and revenge from Christians. It is very common that mullahs announce from mosques to attack Christian colonies for blasphemy law which actually they never committed and a big mob of extremists start killing innocent Christians. They burnt 7 alive in Gojra last year. More over they burnt 60 houses, two churches and injured many innocent Christians.150 gunmen took forcible possession of 8 families in Gulberg LHR Police didn’t help them which is very sad for the Gov’t of the Punjab. 2) The extremists did same brutality in Kasur.Karachi,Shanti Nager and many other Christians’ colonies which is their daily savage work. They kidnap Christian girls for raps and gang raps plus forcible conversion to Islam which is very horrible attitude of extremists according to their Holy Quran & Sunnah. Gov’t was silent until 18th amendment of Constitution , on the debate, they found out President Zia ul Haq removed the clause of Minorities’ rights then Chief Justice of Pakistan said,” it is a crime to remove the rights of the minorities .”If Chief Justice of Pakistan condemned the Gov’t of Pakistan using that law and punishing innocent people ,therefore it is our request to help all Christians living in Pakistan under the hanging sword of fear which is very sad and questionable burning issue of the day. a) According to Chief Justice, condemning Zia ul Haq Gov’t and ignoring the new Gov’t removing minorities’ rights from the Constitution of Pakistan is a big crime, therefore the Pakistani Gov’t has committed a crime and According to the International law should be compensated their humiliation and genocide killing. b) It is my humble request, all Pakistani 20 million persecuted Christians living as refugees in their own country who were native people before birth of Pakistan ,they did not migrated from India, they were already living in that land which called Pakistan as a peaceful nation. they should allowed all over the world to apply for refugee status, so that they should have human dignity , respect , no tears in their eyes and no slavery in 21 century.
