Karachi: August 9, 2010. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Central Council approved nomination of Raymond Durrani as Member in Central Council of PCC, here today in a meeting.
Mr. Raymond Durrani have cooperated with Pakistan Christian Congress for years and held PCC called “Black Day” protests in Canada in year 2009. He remained an instrumental figure to form PCC-Canada Chapter.
The issue of “Christland” in heart of Balochistan province voiced by Mr. Durrani remained a concern by PCC leadership but with dialogues matter was resolved and it was agreed that such issue will not be raised by Mr. Raymond Durrani as leader of PCC.
Mr. Raymond Wallace Durrani appreciated Six Point Manifesto of Pakistan Christian Congress and termed it only memorandum to safe integrity and solidarity of 20 million Pakistani Christians.
Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of PCC welcomed Mr. Raymond Durrani in Pakistan Christian Congress Central Council Executive body.
Mr. Raymond Durrani is based in Canada and a prominent Human Right activist.
