Toronto, Canada: August 8, 2010. (PCP) I read a news and responded. Sorry to know that Gov't of Pakistan ordered police to arrest Christians those who are taking part in the protest on black day of August 11 which Gov't declared as the day of Minorities Day last year but Christians changed it's name as "BLACK DAY" It is my message to the Government of Pakistan and minority communities at large to let us practice our Constitutional right "Freedom of religion and expression of thoughts" Gov't of Pakistan should be grateful to the Christian community that Pakistan came into existence with their casting vote, when their leader S.P.Singha the then Speaker of Punjab Assembly broke tied vote for Punjab which was actually going to India. It is documented in the history of the Division of India. Then Quaide-e-Azam announced from the first Legislative Assembly of the Punjab, "there is no Hindu a Hindu. No Muslim, Muslim but all are equal citizens and free to practice their religions" In other words he declared Pakistan as a Secular State, that's why S.P. Singha, Speaker of all India Punjab Assembly and the then Christian leader broke tied vote of the Punjab and West Punjab was being declared as part of Pakistan. Government of Pakistan should not treat Christians as slaves and allow them to mourn for their martyrs on August 11 and take back orders to arrest participants of processions on August 11,2010.
