(PCP) Baloch Human Rights Council and World Sindhi Congress held a demonstration in front of the British Prime Minister’s official residence at 10 Downing Street London on Sunday 25 July 2010 to express their anguish against the brutal murder of prominent Baloch politician Habi Jalib Secretary General of Balochistan National Party by Pakistan Army’s proxy death squad. A large number of Baloch & Sindhi and other political, social and human rights activists joined the protest and condemned the killing of the Baloch leader. Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Mir Noordin Mengal, Waja Akbar Barakzai, Mir Aslam Buledi, Qader Jatoi, Rahim Bandvoi, Jamshed Amiri, Mir Ghulam Hussain, and Samad Baloch. The speakers termed the killing of Habib Jalib as a reminder of the Pakistani army supported organizations death squads who killed the Bengali political and intellectual leadership ruthlessly. Speakers condemned both Pakistani & Iranian atrocities against the Baloch and called the civilized, democratic world and international community to take notice of the recent killing of the Baloch leader Habib Jalib and others. Speakers raised serious concern about the fate of hundreds of missing persons in Balochistan. They pointed out the act of barbarisms of both Pakistani and Iranian States where one hangs the Baloch political activists in public without any trial and the other is busy in abducting, extra judicial and target killing of the Baloch political cream. A petition was delivered to the Prime Minister David Cameron demanding that in order to bring justice to the Baloch people, the Government of Great Britain should use its influence for the stationing of an international peacekeeping force in Balochistan to save a whole nation from being wiped out systematically.
