Islamabad: Asif Ali Zardari has traditionally greeted Sikh pilgrims, Hindus and other minorities on the occasion of Christmas, Holi and now Baisakh
Dear Dr Bhatti,
I am writing from Massachusetts in America to express our condolences concerning the recent martyrdom of the Emmanuel brothers.
Pastor Rashid Emmanuel was my FaceBook friend and a frequent visitor to the Bible Study Centre on our John Hamel Ministries web site. I will miss his visits and want you to know that we are praying for the people of Pakistan to come to Christ en masse as a result of the Emmanuel brothers fearless stand for Christ and their selfless sacrifice.
The Emmanuel brothers did not live or die in vain. This tragic event will result in increase, not decrease for the Body of Christ in the great nation of Pakistan.
Joseph told his brothers, "What you meant for evil, God will use for good - to save many people." (Genesis 50:20)
We are so sorry the people of Pakistan have lost Pastor Rashid and his precious brother, Sajjid. However we must rejoice in the eternal gain of the Emmanuel brothers.
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)
"To depart and be with Christ FAR better." (Philippians 1;23)
“The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church,” Tertullian
Be blessed, in Jesus' strong name!
Pastor John Hamel
