LARKANA: July 4, 2010. (By Nazir Siyal) General Secretary JUI Sindh Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro said on Sunday that Islam and Religion have no connection with terrorism which teaches us lesson of peace and brother hood, he expressed these views while talking with several delegations here at Larkana. He further said external powers are hatching conspiracies against Islam by spreading sectarian clashes in country, he said that tribal clashes are posing big threats and claiming the hundreds innocent lives. Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro expressed concern over deteriorating law and order situation of country, he added terrorists on behest of foreign power are targeting the religious and public places to weaken the democratic government but all their nefarious designs will be foiled and such elements will be dealt with iron hands, he said. Senator Soomro strongly condemned the suicide attacks on Datta Darbar Lahore and termed it coward attempt to kill innocent people. On the occasion, Mulana Rashid Mehmood, Mulana Hameedullah Siyal, Muhammad Imran Mirani and others congratulated to Senator Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro on electing once again General Secretary of JUI Sindh they expressed hope that JUI leader will continue his struggle for the rights of Sindh people.
