LARKANA: June 5, 2010. (BY Nazir Siyal) The Acting Consul General of Republic of Indonesia at Karachi Trigustono Supriyanto has said that Indonesia and Pakistan have been facing numerous economic challenges, but the Indonesia have successfully overcome these challenges by empowering its people to the best of their ability by creating the opportunities as strong trade partnership, better networking system and by exploring the prospects and opportunities to the world markets. This he said while speaking the inaugural ceremony exhibition of Indonesian-Sindhi Products at local hotel here on Saturday. He said that to hold such an exhibition is to encourage the business communities of Indonesia and Pakistan to explore the new avenues of trade and economic cooperation in order to enhance the existing trade volume between the two brotherly countries. I will certainly gain a lot of experience and encouragements from this exhibition and he hoped that such event will provide an excellence platform to the business communities to understand each other’s needs and introduce their products to the people of both countries. He urged upon the business community of Pakistan specially the business community of Sindh and Larkana to come forward with their proposals and suggestions to further improve our trade relation of the both countries. On the occasion President of Chamber of commerce and industry Larkana Khair Muhammad Shaikh has said that Larkana is the city of Shuhda, The great political leaders Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto belongs to Larkana and The President of Pakistan also like to Larkana. Larkana is the trade center of Rice, 25 Lac Tons of worth rupees 30 Billion were being exported to the different countries of the world. He said that Indonesia-Pakistan friendship is an old one, in this regard the S tower is the symbol of friendship, the ceremony was largely attended by the members of Business community of Larkana region, more than one dozen Cultural stalls of different commodities of both Countries were setup in the exhibition.
