LARKANA: June 1, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Sindh Senior Minister for Education Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq has said that time the summary has been sent to the Chief Minister Sindh regarding the approval of teachers’ scale and teaching allowance and denied any rejection rumors about the neglecting summary approval hoped that teachers will listen a good news in short possible time. This he said while addressing to the press conference at Larkana press club here on Sunday. He said the budget about the time scale and teaching allowance to the teachers would be total amount Rs. 1.56 billion, allocated annually by the government of Sindh in this regard. The Minister expressed his sorrow over the Protest and Boycott of Teachers which is not a positive behavior and against the disciplinary rules. The minister condemned police action against Teachers. He reiterated that the time scale and teaching allowance for teachers was supported by him. The Minister also said that during the period of Pervaiz Mussahraf in year 2001 the new local government system was introduced in which 17 department’s administrative control was given to District government which proved failure system and no any kind of relief was provided to the people at gross route level. The Minister said that with consultation of collion allies in the government the administrative control will be given to provincial government up to November 2010. While replying to another question the Bad education standard in the province is the responsibility of the district governments. He added that under sindh education reform Programme an amount of rupees 10 Crores was being provided to each district government for the maintenance and repair of schools in the province. He added that the result in this regard was not come on up to the mark. The Minster also expressed that the PPP not believe the politics of confrontation, we believe in democracy, all the decisions are being done with the consultation of collion parties. On the occasion EDO Larkana Syed Rasool Bux Shah, DEO elementary Aapa Feroza Khokhar was present. He said that 9000 teachers were being recruited in province on merit basis. On the occasion president press club Larkana S.Iqbal Babu welcome the Minister and appraised the problems of Press club. The minister inaugurated Shaheed Muneer Ahmed Sangi first Memorial carom board tournament. While, Senior Provincial Minister and Minister for Education Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, MPA Turab Ali Shah, MPA Faseeh Shah, Sardar Ghulam Murtaza Kalhoro and other notables including the lawyers and intellectuals offered condolence with Former Provincial Minister Dr. Hamida Khuhro, Masood Ahmed Khuhro over the sad demise of their mother Begum Fatima Khuhro wife of Former Chief Minister of Sindh Muhammad Ayoub Khuhro. They also prayed to almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
