LARKANA: May 19, 2010. (Nazir Siyal for PCP) Advisor Sindh Chief Minister Sharmila Farooqi had said that reconciliation is the bridge between the coalition partners for collective wisdom among the masses for strengthens the democratic system in country and the criticism is the beauty of democracy to improve the performance. Addressing the Press conference here at Press Club on Wednesday, Sharmeela said that the reconciliation policy was initiated by the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and before it was introduced by the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for true democracy and removing the dictatorship, adding that the Benazir Bhutto and several workers along with media persons have been sacrificed for the revival of democracy in country she said. Sharmeela further said that President Asif Zardari is striving hard to the welfare of country and prosperity of nation focused on ensuring basic needs of common men and approved NFC award with the support of politicians in view of its reconciliation policy she said. She said present government was struggling hard for providing basic facilities to the People of rural as well as urban areas for human development through institutional development. She said upcoming budget of fiscal year 2010-11 will be for health and education sectors are being given priority and huge amount may be approved in this regard. while addressing inaugural ceremony of B.H.U (Basic Health Unit) by the PPPHI here at village Fateh Pur, The advisor said basic facilities of health are being provided to the common men and their right to take the opportunities of health and PPP government was carrying forward the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for strengthen the democracy and serving the poor masses she said. District Manager PPHI Dr. Mustafa Kamal Tagar welcomes the advisor and informs that 42 BHU’s are working in Larkana district, to provide free treatment to the patients in rural areas of the District. The advisor visited also Maternity community Home (M.C.H) at village Dhamrah, she said that Maternity community Home plays an important role in providing the relief and treatment to the pregnant ladies in pre and post operative conditions. Sharmila Farooqi visited Ladies jail Larkana and inquired the lady prisoners of Ladies jail and assured that all possible facilities will be provided to them under jail manual. She asked the jail superintendent of the ladies jail that the children of prisoner women must be provided education and free treatment without any discrimination. She also inquired from lady doctor of the jail, regarding the medicines and other health care services on the occasion. On the occasion, Sharmila Farooqi distributed the cheques amounting the rupees 150000 (one lac fifty thousands) among 30 poor men and women of Larkana here at DCO Camp office. She distributed Rs. 5000 each among the deprived and poor people of Larkana. She also visited Dar-ul-Aman, where the incharge of Dar-ul-Aman Larkana informed the Advisor about 24 ladies are present in Dar-Ul-Aman and facilities under the law were being provided to them. Advisor assured the inmates that her full cooperation will be continued and their problems resolved without any discrimination. She also visited Larkana Blood Bank and Thalesseamia center.
