LARKANA: May 11, 2010. (By Nazir Siyal for PCP) Sindh Taraqi Passand Party (STPP) welcomed the decision of Prime Minister regarding the restoration of Hyderabad in its old district status. The central leader STPP Gulzar Soomoro in his press statement issued here on Tuesday said that PPP government should implement the decision of Prime Minister to restore old district of Hyderabad and remove the bifurcation was made on the polical ground and personal gains by the dictators.
He said General Pervez Musharaf handed over big cities to the MQM a coalition partner of the government, but the PPP should not bow down against the linguistic party. Qadir Brohi, Mansoor Soomor, Manzoor Qureshi, Rajib were spoke on the occasion.
While, Sindh Peoples Studnets Federation (SPSF) (Shaheed Bhutto) took out protest rally against increasing loadshedding, unemployment, lawlessness and several other issues of Sindh.
The rally of SPSF was led by the President Hyder Ali Samo, General Secretary Lalo Surhio and others, started from Al-Murtaza House Larkana and marched on the roads and culminated at Press Club Larkana.
On the occasion, SPSF leaders speaking on the occasion, strongly condemned the laodsheding, price hike, unemployment and political victimization of opponent leaders, they said recently SPSF local leader was arrested and torchoured by the Valeed Police Station. They demanded from Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of matter and action against concerened police personals.
Meanwhile, speakers at a seminar for “A good crop of paddy and Awareness about the Agricultural crops in Sindh” highlighted that there is high cross seed available for good crop and can be cultivated 120 mounds on acre land.
Several experts, Abadgars and landlords attended the seminar by Advance Seed Corporation (ASC) here at Nizamani Labour Hall Larkana.
Speakers on the occasion, spoke high about the paddy crop and general Agriculture awareness in Sindh they said that there is need awareness among the Ababgars and growers for good crop and cultivation.
M. A Khanzada told that our socio economic development depends on the Agriculture sector. He said there is dire need of awareness of agriculture and paddy production in Sindh. He said the private sector continued taking efforts to support the farmers and growers for awareness.
Azhar Ali said that the seminar will aware the growers and farming community regarding the good crop and prosperity as well as cultivation of Rabi and Kharif crops he said.
