LARKANA: April 24, 2010. (By Nazir Siyal) Madam Faryal Talpur MNA (NA-207) inaugurated newsroom at Larkana press club late Thursday night.
Speaking on the occasion, Faryal said that media plays an important role in the society by pointing out the real problems of people, through print and electronic media, so that timely appropriate action may be taken to resolve the issues of people without any delay.
She said that the Larkana press always believes on the ground reality and always supported PPP policy for the welfare of the poor people and we acknowledge the struggle of media role.
Madam Faryal also said that implementing the vision of Shaheed Bhutto policy by reconciliation policy is the prime objective of present government, which succeeded to take efforts for the 18th amendment in the constitution and NFC Award were passed unanimously by the parliament she said.
The government started Shaheed Benazir Income Support Programme to allot government land to landless women (Haris) providing job opportunities to the educated youth because the PPP is party of Poors and always work for the welfare of poor masses.
She condemned the tradition of Jirgas in the present system and only feudal (Landlords) play their dominancy on the poor people in their areas by imprison the poor she said.
She opined that the Jirga system may be stopped in the interest of poor masses.
Replying to a question, she said that women a crises center in Larkana was continuing play their role, while the problems of salaries of the staff will be resolved very soon.
On the occasion the president Larkana press club S. Iqbal Babu welcomed the Faryal Talpur for having some time at Larkana Press Club and pointed out the problems of club on the occasion,
Minister for state Shagufta Jumani, the Chairman SPDC Larkana Dr. Shafqat Hussain Soomro, DCO Larkana Syed Hassan Naqvi were also accompanied the MNA Faryal Talpur.
Faryal inaugurated the installation of 300 KVA diesel generating set at city block Chandka Medical Hospital Larkana, where MS of the Hospital Dr. Zulifqar Siyal briefed Faryal Talpur the objectives of diesel generating commissioned at the CMC during load shedding the diesel generator will help patients in the hospital
Faryal Talpur also presided over a meeting of the members of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Larkana here at circuit house a day before.
On the occasion, President of the chamber of commerce and industry Larkana Khair Muhammad Shaikh welcomed the Madam Faryal Talpur and pointed out the problems relating to the business opportunities and other trade events, while the arrangement of foreign tour for the members of chamber of commerce and industry, renovation of city roads, WAPDA power plants, SMBBMU at CMC Larkana and various other problems of Larkana including the Engineering College, daily flights from Larkana to Karachi, Larkana dry port, Larkana industrial zone, Larkana-Sehwan double Road development, establishment of the branch of State Bank at Larkana, Overhead bridge from Lahori Muhalla to Wagan Road, Fast Train from Larkana to Karachi, facilities for CMC Larkana hospital, plot for chamber of commerce and industry and CCB schemes were discussed, which may be completed construction of the shops in new fish market, plots for graveyard on the occasion.
Faryal Talpur assured that all the problems which were pointed out may be resolved accordingly.
On the occasion the Minister of the state Shagufta Jumani, Sindh Law Minister Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Media Coordinator President House Naudero Ghulam Mustafa Laghari, members of chamber of commerce and industry Larkana, the party leaders included Abdul Fatah Bhutto, Ghulam Mujadid Isran MPA, Ghulam Mujtaba Isran, Nazir Ahmed Bughio, Mashooq Jatoi and large number workers were present.
Later, the dinner was hosted in the honour of Faryal Talpur and other guests by president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khair Muhammad Shaikh.
