Philadelphia: April 20,2010. (PCP) “Pakistan Christian Congress PCC demands formations of Separate Christian Province on division of Punjab as unit of federation of Pakistan” said Dr. Nazir S Bhatti chief of PCC in an interview to GloryTV-UK in program Aap Ki Awaz anchored by Taskeen Khan on April 19, 2010. Aap Ki Awaz is very popular weekly program of Glory TV hosted by Taskeen Khan in which current issue of Christians are discussed and viewers can ask questions or comments live. Commenting on formation of Christian Province in Pakistan, PCC Chief said that demand of Separate Christian Province was presented in 1992, in Karachi, when government of Pakistan was planning to divide Pakistan in more and smaller provinces for better administration. “The demand of Separate Christian Province is not against constitution of Pakistan because it will be a federal unit nor any independent state” said Nazir Bhatti answering one question raised by program anchor Taskeen Khan. Dr. Nazir Bhatti clarified that PCC is not raising demand of formation of Separate Christian Province from abroad but we demanded same in Pakistan and launched peaceful campaigned for our province. Pakistan Christian Congress PCC is only political party to court arrest against inclusion of Religion Colum in ID Card, Blasphemy law, distribution of liquor on religious grounds and other discriminatory laws in Pakistan which forced PCC leadership to go in exile for security and safety of life. Nazir S Bhatti said that soon a meeting will be called to declare demography, map and name of Separate Christian Province in consultation with Christian leadership.
