(PCP) The Christianity is religion of East and Western countries have always damaged its image by producing anti-Christ and baseless anti-Mary movies, publishing material contrary to teachings of Jesus Christ and propaganda against Holy Father Pope, said Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC here today. “The medial trial of Holy Father Pope Benedict have surprised millions of Christians living in Islamic Countries who are keep their faith under very tough situation where they are victimized by political policies of Western leaders and publications of anti-Christianity books under cover of freedom of speech and expression or human rights” said Nazir Bhatti The Christian living in Islamic countries face daily hate and criticism on basis of their religion where Muslims openly claim that Christian around world are following and preaching not true Holy Bible but majority of Muslims pay due respect to Holy Father Pope and accept his authority as leader of more than 2 billion Christians. The attempts to involve Holy Father Pope Benedict in child abuse cases is conspired by anti-Christian lobby to damage structure of Catholic Church. “Being a Catholic from Pakistani Origin, I have been reading news in national newspapers from years of incidents when Islamic Imam have sexually abused children in mosque or in his “Hujra” quarter adjacent to mosque but accused was arrested and dealt according to law and same has been case with few Catholic Priests in West who abused children and punished under law” said Nazir Bhatti Bhatti added “it was violation of law and against norms of lawyer fraternity in Western countries who managed millions of dollars of settlement for abused children instead of bringing accused to justice” The Holy Father Pope is symbol of faith and next to heavenly powers on earth and propaganda against him is not acceptable. There is non of case in Pakistan of child sex abuse by any priest nor in Asia or Africa but all cases of sex abused have been surfaced in Western developed countries because majority of Christians living in such countries not practice Christianity. Holy Father Pope is head of Catholic Church around globe and billions of Catholics have grave concern by so-called allegations on His Holiness.
