LARKANA: April 11, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speakers Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said the present elected government was trying to resolve priority issues of education, health uplift despite of world over economic challenges and increasing development situation.
Addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony at Girls Degree College Larkana, Nisar Khuhro further said the present government was providing training to 70 thousand educated youth in different trades under Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Program (SBBYDP) and the PPP government always provided the opportunities in the different fields and Jobs to youth of Sindh, added that various retrenched employees of the departments were re-ininstated all over country he said.
He said the mission and vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was to empower the women in every field that’s why the education is the top priority of present government and She announced to develop new building of Degree College in Larkana, which is now an Engineering College in Larkana. He said present building was the best architechtrual look and historical design, which should be protected and construction of additional part of building with renovation is under way with the cost of Rs. 8 million.
Speakers Sindh Assembly also announced the grant Rs. 1 million for the Auto generator and additional development of college on the occasion.
Later, the Speaker also distributed Shields, Prizes and awards to among the girls and participants in yearly activities of the college. The College Professors and lecuturers were also given best awards and prizes.
On the occasion, Principal Degree Girls College Larkana, Apa Shabroze Sandilo, Director Colleges Nazir Ahmed Bhutto, Deputy Director College Javed Memon, Apa Nasreen Korai, Amna Soomro and others were among the annual prize distribution ceremony.
