LARKANA: April 1, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) The Chief Minister Sindh Sayed Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday reached Larkana and Garhi Khuda Bux to review ongoing development work and the arrangements for the 31st death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April, 04 and inaugurated a ground breaking of Sui Gas supply scheme amounting Rs. 132 million here at village Aqil. On the occasion, Speakers Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Advisor to the Chief Minister Jameel Ahmed Soomro, Provincial Ministers Mohammed Ayaz Soomro, Aga Siraj Durani, Tauqir Fatima Bhutto, MPA Haji Munwer Ali Abbasi and other party leaders were along with Chief Minister Sindh. Talking to the media men, Chief Minister Sayed Qaim Ali Shah said that various sweet water projects will be established all over Sindh and basic facilities of education, health, Sui Gas, electricity and water supply schemes would be ensured in the constituency of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, added that the Larkana district would be a model district in the country he said. Chief Minister further said that for the development of Larkana district, 50 percent budget will be provided by Sindh government as per directions of Prime Minister Mr. Gillani and President Asif Ali Zardari he added. He said they believe in the democracy and problems of people will be rssolved on priority basis. He said 31st death anniversary of founder Pakistan People’s Party and former prime minister Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto will be celebrated on April 04 (Sunday) by great faith and venerate, the ceremonies and speeches will pay tribute by the party workers and leaders. Chief Minister has urged upon the officers of works and service department including NHA to complete the development schemes in time and all the officers of different departments who were assigned their responsibilities to complete their work in time and ensured all the developments at Garhi Khuda Bux. He said the the lighting arrangements/stand by generators, provision potable water at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto may also ensured as well as all the traffic arrangements may be made on the routes towards Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero. The Chief Minister was briefed about the arrangements of 04 April and said that the district control room will be established co-coordinated with all others including Health, Revenue, TMAs, Police, Civil Defence and other all the departments. The rescue teams will be constituted to meet any emergency and walk through gets will be installed and patrolling would be carried out from 2nd to 5th April, 2010, on the routes leading to the Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and proper traffic arrangements may be ensured. The sign board, indicating routes will be affixed and all crossing points to facilitate the visitors to reach Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on April 04. The Chief Minister directed officers for proper lighting, provision of drinking water, medical facilities, accommodations, car parking and all other possible facilities may be provided to the people on the eve of 31st death anniversary of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 04. DCO Larkana S. Hassan told that all the arrangements planned and the TMAs were assigned to remove the encroachment and ensure the cleanliness in their respective areas and EDO Health Service Larkana along with paramedical team and medical camps will be established at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, It was informed that the traffic arrangements will be made in a proper manner and police patrolling and deployment of 10 thosunad police personals on the occasion. Chief Minister directed the authorities to stern security arrangements may be made throughout Larkana District and the police patrolling should be increased in order to face any eventuality, the DPO and DIG Larkana must supervise all the security arrangement in order to provide relief to the common man, who will come to pay rich tributes to their Shaheed Leader at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on April 04, 2010. During briefing the XEN Provincial Building and Project Director Larkana Shabir Ahmed Panhyar informed about the development work at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and boundary wall, five gates and general work completion before the April 04, 2010. On the occasion DCO Larkana Sayed Hasan Naqvi, RPO Mohammed Ramzan Channa, DIG Larkana, Sanaullah Abbasi, DPO Irfan Baloch and other party leaders and officials were present. Later, the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah offered Fateha offered and led floral wreaths at Mazars of Shaheed Zuflikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and others at Garhi Khuda Bux.
