Islamabad: Asif Ali Zardari has traditionally greeted Sikh pilgrims, Hindus and other minorities on the occasion of Christmas, Holi and now Baisakh
Toronto, Canada: March 24, 2010. (PCP) Burning of Arshad Masih and rape of his wife Martha Bibi is
horrible brutality in civilized society, said Agnes Massey, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Canadian Chapter.
The Muslim employer of Arshad Masih advised him to convert to Islam but on his denial he wickedly involved wife and husband in theft case.
Muslim employer complained to police and called other Muslims also in his home where he invited again Arshad to accept Islam but on refusing again showed him fire.
The police went to servant quarter of Arshad Masih where police gang raped his wife Martha Bibi in presence of her children. She kept crying for help but no one came to safe her and children kept crying too.
Arshad Masih died in Hospital on March 19th while police kept Martha Bibi in police lock under suspicion of theft.
Agnes Massey said “It is the worst brutality of the world and forcible conversion to Islam is unconstitutional but Where is President of Pakistan? Why he is not using his inherent power to stop this vagueness with innocent peace loving Christians of Pakistan? Where is Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs? Why he is not realizing his duty for minorities? Where is Prime Minister of Pakistan? Why he is not using his power against culprits? Where is Chief Minister of the Punjab? This brutality happened in his jurisdiction? Why these authorities can't save lives of non-Muslims? This is a big QUESTION and the whole world is watching Pakistan for answer”
“Bishop Malik,Bishop Victor Azraya and other Bishops should join hands with other Bishops in Pakistan and force Gov't of Pakistan to take immediate action and stop non-Muslims conversion to Islam. They should realize all Muslims that Pakistan came into being with the casting vote of the then leader of Christians Late S.P.Singha and show record to the Gov't of Pakistan which is in the custody of UK Gov't and should be brought before 170 million Pakistanis to be thankful to loyal Christian Community and remind them golden words of Quaid-e-Azam that there should be no discrimination of color, cast & creed ,all are equal citizens and free to worship according to their religion and free to go to their worship places” said Agnes Massey
