Sindh National Party protest against 5 districts Karachi status

LARKANA: March 19, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) A large number of people of Sindh National Party and Khaksar Tehreek took out protest demonstration against the restoration of status of five districts of Karachi and price hike, poverty, unemployment, police atrocities and load shedding in country respectively. SNP big rally was led by its Chairman Ameer Bhanbhro, which started from the City Chowke to Press Club Jinnah Bagh Larkana on Friday. SNP Workers chanted slogans and demanded that the Sindh government should immediately restore the status of Karachi into five districts and protect the rights of citizens. While, Khaksar Tehreek Larkana Chapter on Friday observed protest demonstration against price hike, inflation, poverty, unemployment, load shedding and other several issues in country. The workers of Khaksar Tehreek chanted slogans to end the laodshedding and give rights to the people of country. They demanded that the government should plan to end loadshedding immediately and save country economically they said. Local leaders including Agha Mohammed Khan, Ibrar Mughal, Mohammed Yaseen, Shaman Shaikh and others also spoke on the occasion. Meanwhile, United Nations Global Compact held world wide meeting in Pakistan and Friday announced Larkana chapter. According to the details, Soren Petersons the head of UN global compact and Faseeh-ul Karim Siddique secretary of UN global compact Pakistan announced various district level chapters and Friday held meetings with Larkana representatives including Asif Raza Morio the Vice President UN Global Compact Larkana chapter and Riaz Hussain chandio the Secretary of the organization. The body of Larkana was formed and under the social services activities and President Akhtar Ali Abbasi was elected unanimously, while the Ameer Ali Abro, Javed Shah, Sikander Memon Vice presidents of the organization and Publicity Secretary Nazir Hussain Siyal along with its representatives including an NGO Leader Pujal Khan Sangi, Wseem Abro a women activist, Abdul Rasheed Chandio, Mohd. MIthal Chandio said in a press statement issued here on Friday.
