LARKANA: March 16, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday said that the majority people of Sindh demands to restore an old status of districts especially the Karachi in five and Hyderabad districts. This he said while talking to the media men here at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
He further said that the meetings of core committee are being held at Karachi in a regular way. The proposal on Hyderabad in an old position was unanimously resolved in an amicable way, while the Karachi problem will also be resolved with the consensus of coalition partners, so that the timely local body election may be held in time he said.
Chief Minister said that the 1991 water accord is being implemented with the consensus of all provinces. There is shortage of irrigation water and that will be fulfilled soon after the melting of ice he told.
He further said that the legitimate share of irrigation water would be amicably resolved and the hot water is on the way. The present Sindh government was trying its almost to ensure law and order in the province.
He said during the moth of Rabi-ul-Awal the strict security was beefed up on 12th and there was no any untoward incident experienced by the Sindh government.
Later, the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah also presided over a high level meeting with the Mazar Committee and officials of Larkana, to review the arrangements of observing 31st death anniversary of founder of PPP Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, he also reviewed on going development schemes of Mazar at Garhi Khuda Bux.
During the 31st death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on April 04th 2010, strict security measures would be adopted.
On the occasion, millions of people will throng at Garhi Khuda Bux to pay rich tribute to great leader of Asia Mr. Bhutto at his ancestral graveyard.
On the occasion, water drinking facility, lighting arrangements, medical camps will also be set up, while surrounding areas of RHUs and BHUs at Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bux, medical Staff and police patrolling will be accelerated in order to provide security measures.
Earlier, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah along with Sindh Law Minister Muhammed Ayaz Soomro, Dr. Shafqat Soomro, Abdul Fatah Butto, Mashooq Ali Jatoi, Ghulam Mustafa Leghari, Sanaullah Unar and others offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths on the graves of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shahnawaz Bhutto and Shireen Amir Begum.
