LARKANA: March 15, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Federal Minister for Youth Development Shahid Hussain Bhutto said on Sunday that the FAFEN supports the PPP government to skill and enable institutions by fulfill their role and responsibilities in a transparent and accountable manner in country, while this program was also given by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who aware common men regarding the democratic governance and democratic right in country. Addressing the FAFEN’s public forum of N.A 205 one day “Democratic Government Program”, Federal Minister Shahid Bhutto said that due to the prolonged alternate civilian and military rule has eroded democratic institutions, which resulted weak and inconsistent policies across the country, we appreciate the local NGO and FAFEN program was doing their objectives. He said the franchise to cast their vote and awareness regarding the CNIC formation and other developments is the way to the success of present government he said. He said the MNAs responsibility to work on the lines and facilitate the people of this area and he also acknowledged that all the matters could easily be dealt with the attention of parliamentarians in the public forum he said. He also said the minorities vote is an important because they vote for their candidate and other communities, in this regard he also approved two schemes of minorities in Larkana and soon graveyard land will be approved in Larkana he said. On the occasion, Shahid Bhutto told that Shell Pakistan has planned to allocate funds and training for the youth centers, in order to promote entrepreneurship and business opportunities in country. he said the Youth Ministry has signed MoU with UNFP and British Council Pakistan, while ILO, World Bank, UNDP and other funded agencies are in pipeline and soon other projects including National Volunteerism Movement in collaboration with the International organization VSO will start their activities in country he said. He said the computerized data and merit was the first priority to create opportunities among the country youth by more than 45 thousands Internship placements have been completed all over the country, while in Sindh 10 to 12 thousands orders placed among the youth and about 2 to 3 thousand orders placed in Larkana youth, hence we will change the system and play our role by poverty alleviation and opportunities to the youth sector in country he said. On the occasion, Organizer and Program Manager FAFEN Nishata Mumtaz and other participants including Chairperson Mathini Women Welfare Development Organization Farida Abbasi, Shams Jokhio, Imran Abbasi, Nasreen Baloch, Dr. Tanvir Ahmed and Dr. Ghulam Abbasi were present.
