LARKANA: March 11, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) A meeting was held to discuss the arrangements for observing 31st Death Anniversary of former Prime Minister and founder Chairman of PPP Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto, will be held on April 04, 2010 at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
The meeting was presided over by the DCO/Administrator Larkana Syed Hassan Naqvi and meeting decided that strict security measure will be adopted on the occasion as well as provision of drinking water, accommodation facilities, car parking place may be identified and signboards may be displayed.
He directed the TMA authorities to ensure the cleanliness and lighting arrangement in their respective cities/ towns. The health department should ensure to establish medical camps at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and surrounding BHUs and RHUs along with medical officers and Para-medical staff, they will work round the clock on the occasion.
The meeting also decided that Hesco Authority to ensure the electricity and stand by generators at Garhi Khuda Bux, besides the civil defence Razakars will also perform their duties on the occasion.
The DCO directed all concerned officers of different department that they will complete their assignment on the occasion of death anniversary of Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto on April 2010, and to ensure the coordination with each other.
The meeting was attended by EDO Revenue Asasd-u-llah Abro, the district and regional heads of different departments.
Meanwhile, the meeting was held here under the Chairmanship of DCO/Administrator Larkana Syed Hassan Naqvi at his camp office on Wednesday.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the progress of development schemes being carried out under Larkana Development Package, he urged upon the officers of NHA to Re-double their efforts for completion of development schemes in time, any kind of slackness would not be tolerated at any cost.
During the meeting he directed to the Hesco Authorities as well as Telephone Officers to remove the old electric polls and telephone wires, which are being hindrance in completion of roads under the Larkana Development Package.
During the meeting the representative of NHA informed that remaining land compensation may be provided to the land owners after receiving the funds form Government. The meeting was largely attended by all concerned.
