LARKANA: March 7, 2010. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Khaksar Tehreek (KT) Larkana chapter organized one-day workshop on the social change and development of masses regarding the capability building throughout different technical skills modern training and national awareness about the social services here on Sunday.
The Workshop presided over by Khaksar Tehreek Quaid Dr. Sabiha Arshad Al-Mashraqi and other trainers and speakers among Rana Ajmal Khan, Aneela Soomro, Zahid Ali, Abdul Qadir Sodher, Muhammad Nazir Ahmed, Sarmad Mughal, Abdul Latif and others on the occasion.
Khaksar leader Dr. Sabiha said that there are numerous challenges in our country and specially youth facing hardships of economy, unemployment, lawlessness, price hike, terrorism. We need a leadership like our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and on his footsteps to play our role in modern world for social change and revolution he said.
She also said that we offer a critique of existing conceptual frameworks for youth development, which we call the problem-driven and the possibility-driven approaches to resolve their matters because of youth are as second class citizens and barriers to fill democratic participation she said.
On the occasion, speakers of the workshop emphasized youth and masses to unite against all social evils and said the society need attention and development of education, added that the young people have a distinct capacity for facing life challenges and achieving positive development.
The people from different social and educational fields said that there is dire need of technical skills and know-how about the professional education among the youth of country.
The participants including civil society and NGO representatives spoke high about the law and order situation, human rights issues and several other matters by the social, political, NGO leaders, journalists, columnists, traders, professors on the occasion.
The workshop highlighted the capacity development of new generation with skillful and resource based trainings, participants stressed on the quality education and character building is the need of hour they said.
They said the training workshop would be an opportunity to develop skills and capacity development youth also, it is the learning process where the skills could develop and empowerment of society through a social change.
