PCC Holland Chapter to present Petition on Christian persecution to UNHRC in Geneva.

Karachi: March 7, 2010. (PCP) Mr. Parvez Iqbal, President of PCC-Holland Chapter will present a petition to UNHRC on Christian persecution in Pakistan during annual session of Commission in Geneva on March 8-9, 2010. PCC Central Council here in a meeting decided to present a follow up petition with offices of United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva which was presented to Secretary General UN offices in New York to grant Refugee Status to Pakistani Christians on February 25, 2009, by PCC President Dr. Nazir S Bhatti. PCC central Council expressed confidence in leadership of Pakistan Christian Congress President Dr. Nazir S Bhatti and his struggle to seek Refugee Status for Pakistani Christians on suffering constructional genocide and oppression in Pakistan. An additional petition was also dispatched citing recent incident of violence against Christian on pretext to blasphemy law. Mr. Parvez Iqbal, President PCC Holland Chapter, representing PCC shall submit petition with regard to anti human activities against Christians in Pakistan highlighting very recent situation with Christians in Pakistan such as cases against Christians under Blasphemy laws, incidents like as Life imprisonment to Christian couple, Shazia Murder Case, attacks on Christians in Karachi , Gojra and Korian.
