(PCP) Michael William, a Christian from Pakistani origin, is participating in local body elections as candidate of Dutch political Party BPN in Amsterdam North (http://www.bpn-amsterdam.nl/) Mr. Michael William is a well known name in the Pakistani Dutch Christian Community. He is a very active member in the community. He played strong role in protests for Christians in Pakistan. He was the member of the delegation which met the Pakistani Ambassador in The Hague for Christian rights. He is also the Elder of the Amsterdam Urdu Church Holland. He is fighting for Christians in Pakistan with non-violent measures. He is the founder of Merab-TV http://merabtv.org/ (under maintnance).Merab-TV produces and broadcasts evangelical programs in the Urdu/Hindi and Punjabi language. He is a very gentle and polite person. The values and principles of his life continue to inspire a large section of our community. Pakistani Dutch Christian Community is standing beside him.
