Chief Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan (Late) Engineer Hamiddudin Ahmed Al-Mashriqi the youngest son of Allama Innayatullah Khan Al-Mashriqi (founder Khaksar Movement), he was died due to cardiac arrest at Ichrra, while he brought to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore on January 10, 2010. Hameeduddin Al-Mashriqi’s death was great loss of Khaksar Tehrik and for whole the Pakistani nation, in his death, people of Pakistan lost an invaluable spokesman and sincere statesman; his passing leaves a tremendous void that may never be filled. Al-Mashriqi was simple with Khaki dress every time and worked for the downtrodden and underprivileged by uplifting poor masses, achieving justice and unity of all provinces. He never hesitated to take to the streets if a national cause so demanded. He wanted to see Pakistan as glorious, dynamic and welfare Islamic state, grow into a strong and prosperous country where justice, equal opportunity to all citizens. He played its vital role to restore democracy, an independent judiciary and freedom of the Press in Pakistan, stopping the sectarian violence of Sindh (Karachi) in 1988. His recent struggle helped to bring about positive change, including the removal of the ban on Media television channel and reinstatement of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Hammiddudin Ahmed led countless demonstrations, conferences, rallies, marches and held meetings with prominent political, military, and religious leaders, mobilizing the public in support of national issues. In 2005, Hamiddudin Ahmed Al-Mashriqi worked tirelessly to collect donations for the victims of Kashmir, established Khaksar camps in the areas of catastrophe distributed food and other essentials, many truckloads/unloads were sent to affected areas. Khaksar Tehreek continuing these protests on price-hike and other issues. Khaksar leader was to lead Khaksar rally in this regard, when he suffered his fatal heart attack. Similarly, Hammiduddin Ahmed Al-Mahriqi returned from Karachi traveling and held meeting with this scribe. It is quit truth that the leaders void that may never be filled, he was a patriotic politician his death has shocked the followers and admirers all over, condolence messages were received from number of prominent leaders including Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Qaim Ali Shah, Jamaat e Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan, former chief Qazi Husain Ahmed and Secretary General Liaquat Baloch and deputy chief Muhammad Aslam Saleemi, Tehrik-e-Insaaf Chariman Imran Khan, Former President of Pakistan Rafiq Tarar, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Former Prime Minster Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chief Minister (Punjab) Shahbaz Sharif, Former Chief Minister (Punjab) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, and Justice Nasira Javed Iqbal (daughter-in-law of Allama Iqbal), Lt. General Hameed Gul, Former Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri (MPA), and Hafiz Noman (MPA) and others. Individuals from all walks of lif, the politicians, civil and military officials, students, workers, laborers, lawyers, and journalists has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of the head of Khaksar Tehreek, Allama Hameedud din Mashriqi. In his interview with the Larkana Journalists, Hamiddudin Ahmed Al-Mashriqi said that present government should take steps to reforms in society and ensure the accountability in every sector for the proper services and development. Khaksar leader said that the political awareness should be created among the stakeholders, media and civil society to discuss the true aspects of democratic struggle for constitutional change and social change for healthy revolution in country. He stressed on the reforms in Education, Health and society for positive change and to protect the ideology and vision of the dwellers, so that every individual is responsible to perform his duty efficiently he said. It is a disappointing that the legging behind in education, health and other development sectors, which shows lukewarm response of the governments of all times in country, increasing prices of commodities and inflation, lawlessness, poverty and unemployment has failed to ensure the steps taken by the present government. Hamiddudin said that it is crucial to take measures for educating the public about the constitution and safeguarding the rights of common men, he said the constitution chapter must be indexed in the school, colleges’ level, which is the democratically right of individual. Hamiddudin revealed that the corruption and dishonesty has prevailed in all institutions and the politics, the politicians has plundered billions of dollars, shifted to the Swiss and other foreign bank accounts, which is a lethal sign in the society. He said every government borrowed more debts from IMF, World Bank and other financial institutions on high level demands, resulting country suffering form more debts, sanctions, while the role of our rulering leaders is naked before the masses, deceiving the nation he said. Al-Mashriqi lauded the verdict on National Accountability Ordinance (NRO) by Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Pakistan and demanded for proper accountability and implementation by the government administration. He stressed the Chief Justice to take suo moto action on missing persons including Dr. Afia case. Khaksar Tehreek aware masses about their rights and representation in the parliament, as per 80 percent lower class, 15 percent middle and only 5 percent elite class participation in the Assemblies, but the elite class only ruling on the 95 percent people all over the country, they are fighting only for self interests and benefits he said. He said the people of country should unite and joint struggle for wealthy Pakistan and constitutional, real democratic Pakistan. He said our struggle is not a part time, but for proper change in the system by the people not by the dictatorship, he further said there is only way to change can be made by the character development and awareness of education. He said the dishonesty and corruption has weakened the country and institutions, we can not expect stable, peaceful and prosperous society, because of political and bureaucratic corruption has destabilized over all the country he said. He said the America, Israel and India were playing their part to destroy Pakistan by terrorism, bomb blasts and other means, but the present rulers were following their directions, killings of innocent people in the blasts and operation in NWFP Swat, Malakand and other parts of country he said. Al-Msahriqi said the suspect activities of Black Water Organization and other illegalities in country unlocked the doors of corruption by loot and plunder of country exchequers. The country is suffering from hatred, hunger and unemployment, law and order, which leads to hundred and thousands of protests and rallies against the government. He said the country suffering from numerous challenges; people are trapped due to the inflation and price hike day by day increase of petroleum products, increase in Gas and electricity and other police atrocities, while the jobs were offering those who incompetent and on demerits, after they take that positions and prolong their corruption once again he said. Khaksar leader demanded to develop country by planning and joint struggle on the right based autonomy and the distribution of equal resources among the provinces, added the country needs devoted and sincere politicians, otherwise the present national and international situation look like dangerous sign and annihilation.
