Karachi: February 14, 2010. (PCP) Pakistan Christian Congress PCC announced the nomination of Mr. Nabeel Javed as Vice President of PCC Sindh Council.
In a reorganizing move by Pakistan Christian Congress in Sindh Mr. Nabeel Javed will be in PCC Council for Membership as Associate Coordinator also.
Pakistan Christian Congress is only Christians political party in Pakistan when all other groups lost their identity in 2000 after joining Muslim political groups to seek nomination in parliament with selection under imposed Joint Electorate.
PCC is demanding Dual Voting rights for Christians since 1985, when Separate electorate was awarded to religious minorities of Pakistan.
PCC was of view that Christian shall elect their representatives in parliament by their votes but must cast votes to other candidates in their respective constituencies.
The present Selection by Muslims groups empowers Muslim to enjoy Christian vote bank but bar them to elect their representatives.
Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of PCC welcomed Nabeel Javed in Pakistan Christian Congress and congratulated him to be in PCC Sindh Council.
